Facebook and Old Friends

SO One of the things I”m loving most right now about my photography is getting to see a lot of the people I went to High School, Junior High, and even Grade School with!!! It’s really REALLY awesome to reconnect with these people and see where their lives have taken them, and how different (or the same) they still are!!!! In High School, I was not in any certain clique, I was not the most or least popular, I was kind of the “all around girl” meaning I kinda got along with everyone, not a lot has changed for me in that way, I kinda like everyone. Well, let me tell you, If you do not have Facebook…get on the band wagon…GO SIGN UP HERE  and then add me as your friend HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW FUN WAS THAT? Now enjoy finding all the friends you knew when you were 5, and enjoy finding your grandma because your grandma probably has a facebook page, also enjoy a whole new way to communicate with your spouse and children….THEY ALL HAVE FACEBOOK!!!Who doesn’t have a facebook page, right??? My Friend “Anna Martin” from good ol Bend High Called me up and wanted me to do some FAB pictures of her babies, and OMG they are SO cute Here they are!!!

YAY! Meet our first Contestants of the Cute Baby and Kid Contest!!!!!! This Contest is Offered through My Photo Lab, and the grand prize is $5000 to the Family of the cutest kid!!!! YAY!!! I HOPE that one of my customers wins the grand prize!!!! This is a great time to get your Kid’s Pictures taken! Easter is almost here…..CRAZY!

I’ve been thinking of cute little girls in their easter dresses, and boys in little suits and ties out hunting easter eggs in the green grass!!!!!! I can not belive that easter is only a couple weeks away!!!CRAZY!!!!
Well, Today I got out my paint and tried to get creative!!!!! I wanted a really “springy” type background, so yellow, and flowers is what we got!!!
When Kiana came home from School today, I said “Kiana will you be my model” and of course she said yes, and this is what we got! Granted these are taken right in the kitchen, but still turned out very cute!!!! Studio pictures will come soon!!!! Enjoy! BTW, if you want some easter pics of your kiddos with my new chics, call me!!!

This Crazy thing happened to me the other day………….

So, I’m ALWAYS taking pics of my kiddos…..I mean, what mom doesn’t right? Well, I took my baby “Nana” is what we call her….but her real name is Kiana. I took her down to the Studio before Valentines Day to take pics of her for her valentines day cards! She was like a little super model in front of my camera, and was not at all like the child who will NOT let me take pictures of, (moms you know what I mean) She did everything I asked and tried on lots of new stuff, and new poses……THEN IT HAPPENED!

I came home and stuck the little card into the card reader and up the photos popped on my monitor…one after the other I ooooo’d and awwwww’d over…..each one better then the last…and as I looked at them tears came to my eyes…OMG where has time gone? How did my BABY get to be almost 7 years old???? Before I know it, she was going to be “to cool” for her mom…..it’s almost as if I had seen our lives flash before my eyes……..my water filled eyes…..

Now I get why when I show moms pictures of their babies, toddlers or their teenagers they cry so easily! It’s almost as if those pictures are proof of the work we have worked SO FREAKING hard to master, to keep alive and healthy…………*sigh*

You may have seen this in my last BLOG post, but I didn’t talk about it at all

Victoria Brought her Cutie Pie Alicia into see me in January, And I never got a chance to post some of the cute pics we took at the session! Victoria is Such a Creative woman! She has an Etsy Site where she sells the cute outfits, patterns and hair accessories. I highly recommend buying one of her cute outfits for your photo session!!!!!

Road Trip #3 Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm

OMG~ So I forget about how green it gets over on the other side of the Mountain….While we over in Central Oregon are still fighting Frozen windshield in the morning, heavy sweatshirts, snow flurries, and extreme wind and temperature fluctuations, Just a Few hours away, spring is REALLY happening…..the trees are all turning pretty and pink, and the grass is bright green, and the flowers are in Full Bloom! So I discovered the Wooden Shoe Tulip farm last year about this time, and wanted to go so bad, but the winter pass stopped me and the HONDA from traveling over the Mountain….SOOO this morning I woke up, and grabbed Kiana, my camera and my keys and headed over the pass………Everything was great except the guy in the F350 that tried to kill us…that’s a story for another time though…..LOL! ANYWAYS I apologize in advance for the amount of pictures I’m about to post, but I had trouble picking out my FAVS!!! OH, and BTW, if anyone you know is getting married NEXT year at the TULIP farm, PLEASE have them call me…I want DESPERATLY to shoot a wedding there!!!!

SO here is my baby, I really don’t know what she was pointing at, but she is a true treasure hunter! She is always looking for something shiny to “find”

I didn’t realize the swampy areas that shevlin has, but maybe it’s just because the snow runoff, but I bet that the mosquitoes could get really bad in the summer if these little swamps stick around…..

I love when they’re actually being nice to each other!

Parks and Rec, was teaching a class when I was there, looked kind of fun, especially since the weather was SO nice…

And in Closing, If you have ever been out here, you know that the whole park is covered with Aspen Trees (Duh, Aspen Hall…) But the great thing about aspens is that you can carve your name in them and it looks very cool throughout the years, so I just wanted to show how much LOVE has happened in this park
