Peggy was the Lucky winner to a Package that I donated to help the Sisters School District for their Big Auction Earlier this year!!!! We were able to get together and get some great Family Photos! Here are just a few from the session!!! ENJOY

Another reason I’m just loving my job these days is because I’ve just been meeting the most AWESOMIST (is that a word) People! I met Misti about a Year ago at the coffee hut. (For those who don’t know, I also work part-time at FULL THROTTLE JAVA) The Reason why I like Misti so much is that we have SO much in Common! She is a SUPER HARD WORKING MOM!!!! I LOVE THAT!!!! Seriously though, Misti Owns her own salon here in Redmond called Mistique (get it?????) ANY-HOO, she works hard to keep all the people in Redmond looking beautiful, AND has Lil Emmy who has to be one of the cutest lil baby girls around!!!! Not to mention that Misti Drinks about as much coffee as I do………..LOVE THAT!!!! Anyways I LOVE the Cake and the outfits that they brought lil Emmy in!!! The Cake was made by “A Cake to Remember” in Prineville, and it was the freaking cutest cake I have ever seen, not to mention it was SO good!!!!!! The little tutu outfit that Emmy is eating her cake in was made by a girl here in Redmond, and it was also SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!! OK, so After the baby is born…..and all the fun little “firsts” happen, Like Blowing bubbles, and spitting, and rolling over, and sitting up, Secretly we can not wait to see our babies dive into their first birthday cake!!!!!! Truth be told MOST babies dont really like the cake, as much as they like to get all dirty……For baby it’s got to be kind of weird that mom and dad are saying “eat it with your hands, it’s ok”. The babies always ALWAYS look at mom and dad like…..”you’re not gonna tell me NO?????”
I LOVE to shoot One Year old “Cake Smashes” It’s so Fun, and the Pictures Always turn out GREAT- Good Job Jenna, Oh yeah and the cake that Julie her mama made turned out SO cute! It WAS a Lady bug…….GREAT JOB JULIE!!!!!!!

Taking Pictures to me, is so much more then pressing the little button! Now that I’ve become a mother, when Seniors make appointments with me, I get SO excited, because I remember the time when I was a senior (as I’m sure most of us do). I think of how I thought the world was just waiting for me to make my debut….hahahahah things have changed a little in my mind since those days of dreaming about what I would be, or who I would become, but I love what I do and who I have become. I remember how sad my mom and dad were when I pulled out of the driveway headed for college, and I LOVE to be the person who has taken the pictures that will hang in the hall, or sit on a desk that will remind moms and dads every time they look at that picture, of the times when their babies were still at home and what this moment in time was all about. Kayla and her Mom were awesome to work with, they were funny, and have a bond like Lorelie and Rory from Gilmore Girls (if you have never seen that show you TOTALLY should). They talked about college, and how cute her boyfriend is…..and how cute they are together! I wish you all the luck in the world Kayla!!!! Colette had a baby!!!!

4 months ago, I got a call from the Hospital,  Colette wanted to tell me that she had her new baby, and was trying to Schedule a newborn session for her new addition “Malory”!!!

You know,  It takes me back 6 years when I  can “re-live” pregnancy with all my clients!!! I get email from women who just found out they are pregnant and are SO excited to get pics of their bellies! I LOVE THAT…….

THEN i get calls like the one I got from Colette, tired mommy’s that have spent days and hours doing the most miraculous thing I think known to man…..birthing a baby…ahhh dont even get me started!!!!  But all they can think about is the LOVE they have for their precious creation, and they want to share it with the world, so they call me to document these hectic, crazy, loving, emotional, sleepless times!!!!! I LOVE IT!!  ANYWAYS……………..

The day before her shoot Aidan accidentally punched her in the eye, and gave her a nice black eye!!!! (secretly I laughed, because it reassured me that I’m not the only one who has kids that beat each other up) ANY-HOO, SHHHHHHHHHHH it’s been 4 months!!! Malory somehow got to be freaking 4 months old, I just don’t know where the time went!!!!!!!!!! I was BLOWN AWAY when Colette said she was 4 MONTHS old already…OK, on to their awesome pics that I LOVE!!!! I had a hard time picking my Favs, ENJOY!!!!!
